Soybean Export Payment & Delivery Terms Explained

These Terms of Sale govern all soybean export transactions between EXSOY International and the buyer. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Pricing & Quotation

  • All prices are in USD and based on current commodity market rates.
  • Quotes are valid for 7 days from issue date.
  • Final pricing is confirmed at time of contract.

Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)

  • Standard MOQ: 500 MT for FOB shipments.
  • Trial orders (100–200 MT) available at slightly higher pricing.
  • Volume discounts apply for 5,000 MT+ orders.

Payment Terms

We accept the following payment methods:

Method Terms
T/T (Wire Transfer)
30% deposit to confirm order, 70% balance before shipment
Letter of Credit (L/C)
Irrevocable, confirmed L/C advised through a reputable bank (optional)

Payment must be received in full before container release.

Shipping & Delivery

  • FOB (Free on Board): Title and risk transfer to buyer once cargo is loaded at the US port.
  • CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight): We cover ocean freight and insurance to destination port.
  • Shipment schedule confirmed 14 days before loading.
  • Delays due to port congestion, weather, or customs are beyond our control.

Quality & Inspection

  • Soybeans meet USDA-grade specifications (protein 38–42%, moisture <13%).
  • A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is provided per batch.
  • Buyer may request third-party inspection at their cost.

Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., war, natural disaster, port closure, government restrictions).

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
  • Any disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Houston, TX, under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
